FAQ about hair transplant

Is it painful?

Invariably, the comments we hear is "If I'd known it was that easy, I would have done for years." During local anesthesia it is normal to feel a slight discomfort.

How will I feel right after?

Regularly, our patient does not need any bandages. Hair can be washed the day after. Healing scabs that are barely noticeable cover the area for 7-10 days, then disappear.

When can I go back to my normal activities?

Patients can go back to work the next day. Physical activities will be allowed 10 days after surgery.

How long does it take to see the hair growth?

After a short resting phase of three to four months, the hair begins to grow at a rate of half a centimeter a month, and continues to grow indefinitely.

How many sessions are required?

Usually 1-2 sessions are recommended to make a frontal or the top of the head. This can be done in 4 to 8 months or over a longer period of time depending on the preference of the patient.

Have you ever performed transplants on women?

Yes. Women with a significant hairloss may be candidates for this surgery.
