Hair Micrograft
Hair micrograft is a minor surgical procedure that can be carried out under local anaesthesia. The principle is quite simple: redistribute existing hair from the occipital region (lower back of the head) to the front, top and vertex (upper back of the head) so as to help fill in those regions. The hair located in the donor zone (occipital region) is genetically programmed to remain intact. When this hair is redistributed on the scalp, that programming is retained, so the hair continues to grow.
