Answers
1. Who can benefit from a capillary graft?
In more than 90% of cases, it is possible to treat hair loss with the help of a hair graft. Certain cases can be more difficult. For instance a person having lost a large quantity of hair with a very fine crown at the back of the head could not expect very conclusive results. These cases are directed towards other alternative solutions.
2. Could you explain why implanted hair will not fall again?
Hairs taken from the crown are programmed genetically not to fall. Once uprooted for later redistribution, the genetic code remains intact throughout the rest of the person's entire life.

9. Is the graft accessible as much to women as it is to men?
Feminine hair loss is different from that of men. The loss of hair for men is mostly concentrated at the top, the front, and the tonsure. Women on the other hand, are subject to a general more diffuse hair loss on the scalp leaving a donor zone, which is less furnished. A good evaluation is therefore recommended before initiating a graft procedure for a woman.
10. Overall, what general instructions should be followed after surgery?
To avoid swelling, it is preferable to avoid all physical exercise for 10 days after surgery. During this period it is also important to bathe to help the dried skin on each graft fall off.

11. How many grafts can be implanted during one session?
This will depend firstly on the density of the donor zone, but also the zone to be covered. A maximum of 1200 grafts can be implanted during one session. Each case being different, it will then be necessary to consult a HAIRFAX specialist who will determine with you the exact number of grafts to be implanted.
12. Are there any apparent scars after the surgery?
The crevices caused by the bistoury on the receiving zone are so small that they naturally close themselves without leaving any apparent scars. A fine scar will be formed on the donor zone, but in most cases, it becomes very difficult to find after a few months.
